CAREER OBJECTIVE : I've been studying languages since I was eighteen. I'm now 32 years old. I first started with English and I have my Teaching Degree in the English language. I continued with French, Italian and German. Spanish is my native language. I took English at the "University of Guanajuato" for almost two years. I studied Language Law (English, French, Italian and German), International Trade and Accounting. I have knowledge of Medical, Insurance, Legal, Banking and Financial terminology and telephone operator skills. I worked with Language Line Services for almost two years as an over the phone Spanish Interpreter. I took the Insurance, Medical and Legal training at Language Line and got certified as a Medical and Legal Spanish interpreter through that same company ( I have my Diplomas and would be happy to provide you with a copy if necessary). I also have my own computer at home and have access to the internet. Right now, I'm a self-employed, I do translations at home (I translate Personal Letters, Newsletters, Brochures, Catalogs, Manuals, Birth Certificates, etc. ) I've been doing translations and three party calling interpretations at home since July of 1996.

INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY Monterrey, Mexico ( Jan. 96 - Jun. 96 ) English Teacher : - I had two groups of students that I taught. One class was for beginners (all children). The second class was for adults (I prepared them both, for the TOEFL test). - I had to write tests for both groups. - I was responsible of keeping order and control in both groups. - I had to finish the school program on time. - I was responsible of preparing the student's class the day before. - I had to keep my grades up because I was also studying Italian and German at the same school and I had a scholarship. - By the time I was studying Italian and German I already spoke English and some French. Reason for Leaving Mexico : I got married and move to the United States.

BANAMEX BANK Manzanillo, MEXICO (Feb. 94-Jul 94) Universal Cashier : - I was the only person at the bank that spoke English and French and I used to be an interpreter for all foreign customers. - Responsible for the transfers of all foreign currency - Responsible for making a detailed report of all the transactions each day. - Responsible of opening new checking accounts and savings accounts Reason for living: I moved to another state.

LAS HADAS HOTEL Manzanillo, MEXICO (March 93-Jul 93) Room Service: - Receptionist Spanish/English, English/Spanish. - Responsible of checking the orders before the waitresses and waiters took them to the rooms. - Responsible of making a detailed report of all the meal order tickets each day. Telephone operator: - I was responsible of the Hotel answering service Spanish/English, English/Spanish. - I did all the interpretation service for the customers that didn't speak any Spanish. Reason for living: I found a better job.

ALIANZA FRANCESA Guanajuato, MEXICO (Aug. 90- Jul. 91) - My major was French and my degree was "French Language Teacher", I studied four levels there according to the program established for that school and all my teachers were French. ALIANZA FRANCESA Monterrey, MEXICO (Aug. 94- Jun. 95) - My major was French and my degree was "French Language Teacher", I studied three more levels, so I got to the seventh level, according to the program established for that International French school, that means that I can be a French teacher of the first, second, third and fourth levels.
